We rely on the generosity of our volunteers to fulfil our aims. Providing volunteer skills and gifting donated hours is greatly valued and appreciated.
Over the years, our teams of volunteers have raised significant funds to help our work and deliver much needed services to those living with and affected by kidney disease. Volunteers who join our team are provided with ongoing support to ensure they get the most out of their opportunity and are making a difference.
Applications, training and support
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us at Kidney Health Australia. We appreciate your positive contribution in time helping the kidney community. By volunteering with us, you directly help people with kidney disease and make a fundamental difference to their lives.
If you have a specific interest that’s not listed on the volunteer opportunities page, please complete an expression of interest form below and we will contact you if a relevant role becomes available.
Applicants for ongoing volunteer roles may be required to undergo a interview and reference check. If you're successful, we'll call to advise you of your start date and any other details for your first day.
Before you start, you may also be required to provide a Police Check. If your role involves being in contact with children under 18, you’ll also need to provide a valid Working with Children Check.
If you're unsuccessful, or there are roles suited to your skill set, we'll do our best to let you know. However, depending on the number of applicants we receive, we can’t always contact everyone. You’re welcome to call us on 1800 454 363 if you’re unsure.
