Well done

You're taking all the right steps to managing your kidney health.

Your results of the Kidney Risk Test indicated you are at increased risk of kidney disease. At your doctor's appointment you'll be getting a Kidney Health Check which involves three straightforward tests:

  1. a blood test – to see how well your kidneys are filtering your blood
  2. a urine test – to check for albumin (a type of protein) or blood in your urine
  3. a blood pressure test – because high blood pressure and kidney disease are related.

Before your GP appointment, we recommend downloading our Conversation Aid to take to your appointment to help you start the conversation with your doctor.
