Daylesford

The Big Red Kidney Bus will be in Daylesford at the Lake Jubilee Holiday Park from Monday 21st August to Saturday 16th September.

Daylesford is a town in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range of Victoria, Australia. Initially founded due to the gold mining which occurred here during the mid 1800’s, it’s now known for its natural mineral springs, beautiful greenery and peaceful environment. The leafy Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens sits atop an extinct volcano. On its grounds, a 19th-century mansion is home to the Convent Gallery. Daylesford Spa Country Railway winds through farmland and forest. Nearby, Wombat State Forest shelters rare wildlife like the spot-tailed quoll. With beautiful walking tracks, olden cafes and bakeries it is the most perfect place for relaxation, rejuvenation or adventure.
