Take the whole family along to the magic Mountain Merimbula theme park. Make a splash on the water slides, find your way through the mini-maze and take on the Tree Climb challenge.

Merimbula Main Beach is a stunning 5km of pristine blue water. Learn to surf, swim, fish or take a walk along the sand. The beach also has an off-leash area for the family dog. Other beaches include Bar Beach, known for great snorkelling and Spencer Park Beach, ideal for families.

The leisurely 3.5km Merimbula Boardwalk weaves through mangrove forests, eucalyptus canopies and oyster farms. For a family friendly walk, the Goodenia Rainforest Walking Track leads into a lush ferns and shady lily pilly canopies.

Between late September to late November, Merimbula is home to whales. Book a local tour to head out on the ocean for your chance to spot these magnificent creatures.
