Copyright applies to all information published by us, and must be observed. When quoting information from any of our publications or material, you must reference the source of the information.

There is no system of registration for copyright protection in Australia. Copyright law comes from the Copyright Act and from court decisions, and gives exclusive rights to license others in regard to copying the work, performing it in public, broadcasting it, publishing it and making an adaptation of the work. Refund policy

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will give you a 14 day money-back guarantee from the time you receive the goods. Please email us at [email protected] within that time if you are not satisfied with your purchase so that we can resolve any problems.

This refund policy does not apply to goods which have been worn or used, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken. All products must be returned in their original condition. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via registered post and that you pre pay all postage.

You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit and therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. Kidney Health Australia will not be responsible or parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.

Our vision is to help people with kidney disease in Australia and our region, with a view to improving their health outcomes and quality of life, and that of their families and carers.

We do this by developing and driving initiatives to ‘Prevent, Detect, Support’ and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and partners to carry out this critical task.

We have a rigorous quality assurance and approval process to ensure the health education information we present is evidence-based and reflects current best practice for each of our websites. This process includes:

  • Research, writing and editing – All kidney health resources are researched, written, edited and proofread by our publications editorial team who have extensive experience in the health sector.
  • Verification (external) – All kidney health resources are checked and approved by external content experts who are specialists in their fields and include clinicians, academics and other allied health professionals.
  • Verification (internal) – All kidney health resources are checked by our health publications editorial team and then referred to other areas of our organisation as appropriate.
  • Reviews and updates – All kidney health resources are reviewed annually by external reviewers and approved by our health publications editorial team.

Intellectual property represents the property of one’s mind or intellect. It can be an invention, trademark, original design or the practical application of a good idea; this is known as proprietary knowledge, which is a key component of success today. We reserve the right of our moderators to remove or ban any user of our social networks for violating any of our netiquette guidelines, or for any other behaviour deemed to be inappropriate.

Red Socks Run 2024 Prizes

A. To be eligible for any prizes, you must be an Australian resident who is registered as an individual participant at redsocksrun.org.au for the 2024 Red Socks Run Campaign.

B. Prizes cannot be redeemed or exchanged for any other products.

C. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

D. Kidney Health Australia accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages, or injury incurred to enter the competition or in connection with taking up the prizes.

E. Prizes will be shipped by standard post to the winners at mailing addresses supplied upon registration, or where possible, emailed to the email used for registration. Shipping may be subject to delays.

F. Once prizes have been shipped Kidney Health Australia takes no responsibility for any damaged, delayed or lost in transit prizes.

G. All participants who meet promotion criteria will be automatically entered into a prize draw or be eligible for the promotion. Only one entry will be entered per prize per participant.

H. Register for Red Socks Run by 31st August 2024 11:59PM AEST to go in the draw to win a $200 Rebel Sport Voucher. Prize will be drawn via a random electronic draw on 9 September 2024 at Kidney Health Australia Office, Level 2, 99 Coventry Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3000.     K. Raise $1,000 or more on your individual fundraising page at redsocksrun.org.au by 31st October 2024 11:59PM AEDST and go in the draw to win a $250 JB Hi Fi Voucher. Prize will be drawn via a random electronic draw on Wednesday, 6th November 2024 at 10am AEDST at Kidney Health Australia Office, Level 2, 99 Coventry Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3000.     L. 48hr Flash Challenge. Anyone registered for the 2024 Red Socks Run who raises $48, between 10am AEDST Wednesday, 9th October 2024 and 10am AEDST Friday, 11th October 2024 goes in the draw to win a $500 Visa Gift Card. The winner will be drawn via a random electronic draw on Wednesday, 6th November 2024 at 10am AEDST at Kidney Health Australia Office, Level 2, 99 Coventry Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3000. Winners will be notified by phone and email by Friday 8th October 2024.

    M. 24hr Flash Challenge. Anyone registered for the 2024 Red Socks Run who raises $60, between 10am AEDST Wednesday, 30th October 2024 and 10am AEDST Thursday, 31st October 2024 goes in the draw to win one (1) of three (3) Red Socks Run T-shirts signed by Australian Cricketer Cam Green. The winner will be drawn via a random electronic draw on Wednesday, 6th November 2024 at 10am AEDST at Kidney Health Australia Office, Level 2, 99 Coventry Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3000. Winners will be notified by phone and email by Friday 8th October 2024.

    N. Highest Fundraising Individual will be awarded to the individual who has the highest amount raised on their individual fundraising page at redsocksrun.org.au by 17th November 2024 11:59PM AEDST. The winner will be determined on 18th November 2024 at Kidney Health Australia Office, Level 2, 99 Coventry Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3000. Winners will be notified by phone and email by 20th November 2024. The winner will select one of the following items - Fitbit Versa 4 (RRP $378), Nintendo Switch Lite ($329) or Google Nest Hub ($349).

    O. Highest Fundraising Team will be awarded to the Team (excluding Renal Units) who has the highest amount raised on their team fundraising page at redsocksrun.org.au by 17th November 2024 11:59PM AEDST. The winner will be determined on 18th November 2024 at Kidney Health Australia Office, Level 2, 99 Coventry Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3000. Winners will be notified by phone and email by 20th November 2024.

      P. Highest Fundraising Renal Unit will be awarded to the Renal Unit who has the highest amount raised on their team fundraising page at redsocksrun.org.au on 31st October 2024 11:59PM AEDST. The winner will be determined on 1st November 2024 at 9:00am at Kidney Health Australia Office, Level 2, 99 Coventry Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3000. Winners will be notified by phone and email by 7th November 2024.

      Q. Kidney Health Australia reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including phone) in order to claim the prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of The Promoter. If a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

      R. Kidney Health Australia reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who they believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Transformation Submissions. Kidney Health Australia has legal rights to recover damage or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
