Kidney Health Australia accept volunteers from 18 years and over.

When you volunteer for Kidney Health Australia, you not only help people directly impacted by kidney disease – you also help their families and carers.

Absolutely. All volunteers receive training and ongoing support to ensure they get the most out of their experience. As a valued team member, you are supported by your Volunteer Manager and broader team. Training requirements vary depending on your role. More details are provided in your specific job description. The time you kindly donate to Kidney Health Australia depends on the type of role you’re applying for. We offer one-off, short term or ongoing volunteer opportunities. Hours also vary depending on the role. For example, you may help us out at one of our large fundraising events for the day, or you may help us facilitate monthly support groups.

To ensure volunteer skills are matched to the right roles, certain screening will take place. A current police check and or working with Children Check may be required for certain roles. The requirements for each role are identified in the role description so you can prepare.
