Kidney Health 4 Life

Do you need help managing kidney disease for yourself or someone close to you?

The Kidney Health 4 Life program can help you, or someone you care for, get on a better path to understanding and managing kidney disease, and overall health. The program is your personal guide, adapting the support it provides as your kidney journey changes. As well as guided learning, you will have access to practical lifestyle management resources, expert advice and access to a supportive community.

In the meantime if you are looking for support, please call our Kidney Helpline on 1800 454 363 and we’d be happy to provide information on our current services and programs. Alternatively, head to the ‘Ways We Help‘ page.

Randomized clinical trial of the KH4L self-management program

The research study assessed the success of a six-week online pilot program in improving self-management in people at different stages of kidney disease. The study assessed two groups – those living with Stage 1-4 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and those on dialysis.

The study found improvements in self-management for the Stage 1-4 CKD group in terms of CKD knowledge, problem solving and self-efficacy. Insights from the pilot and research study laid the foundations for shaping our permanent Kidney Health 4 Life program, launched late last year.
