Whether you’re a young person aged 0-24 years living with kidney disease or a parent or guardian of someone who is, there’s support for you every step of the way. We’re here to help build meaningful connections for life, understand your kidney condition and transition confidently from children’s hospital to adult health care.
There’s something for everyone. Connecting with other young people living with kidney disease or other parents/carers can lead to lifelong friendships and offer much-valued peer support from someone who understands. Whether you’re looking to find someone your age to chat with at a social event, having fun at a camp, learning more about living well with kidney disease, becoming a Kidney Youth Champion or talking to a Kidney Buddy, we are ready to connect you and your family to activities, resources, peer support and more.
Our Es-Caper Events are for kidney kids and their families to share valuable experiences, create lifelong friendships and have fun at the same time.
They’re designed to connect local families for exciting activities like bowling and adventure parks, informal information sessions, meeting other parents/carers and building confidence and resilience. Kidney kids aged up to 24 years, siblings, parents (or carers) are welcome!

We have an active group of incredible Kidney Youth Champions (18+ yrs) living their best lives. They meet online monthly to chat about their studies, jobs and interests.

The Kidney Kar Rally is a fun, exciting event that raises funds for our Kidney Health 4 Youth programs. Held every year, it involves multiple teams driving thousands of kilometres across the beautiful Australian countryside with one ambition – to change the lives of children and young people affected by kidney disease. The Rally is not a conventional race, but a test of skills.
The 2025 Kidney Kar Rally raised $480,000 – thank you to all the rally-tives that participated, we can’t do this without your incredible support!
