Kidney Research Alliance

Prevent. Treat. Cure. Together.

3 professionals in an office having a casual meeting

In response to priorities outlined in the National Strategic Action Plan for kidney disease, the Australia and New Zealand Society of Nephrology (ANZSN) and Kidney Health Australia are working together to establish an Australian research alliance with the goals of growing investment in kidney health research, defining and advocating for research priorities and bringing together the kidney research community to be a strong unified voice on kidney disease.

Kidney Research Alliance - a newly formed alliance to transform research towards the shared goals of prevention, treatment, and a cure for kidney disease.

Our goals are:

1. Grow investment in kidney health research in Australia

2. Work with both consumers and researchers to develop and prosecute Australian research priorities aligned to areas of greatest impact in kidney health

3. Collaborate across Australian and international research institutions, so that we can collectively be a strong voice on kidney health.

To address this, we have several stakeholder information sessions and workshops planned. If you would like to discuss how you can get involved, please reach out to a member of our working group, or contact us at research@kidney.org.au
