Workplace giving - A win for you and a win for the kidney community

One of the best ways to positively impact people with kidney disease is through Workplace Giving. Setting up regular salary contributions is one of the most valuable ways of giving, helping us to deliver critical support programs to individual and families impacted by kidney disease - now and into the future.

Benefits of workplace giving

Through workplace giving your gifts will help;

  • fund the kidney resource hub and kidney helpline to help guide people through their journey with kidney disease
  • save lives by ensuring more people are aware of their kidney health through early awareness and intervention programs
  • support kidney kids and families impacted by kidney disease
  • provide vital services and support to ensure people with kidney disease can get the support they need from awareness to diagnosis, treatment, transplant and beyond
  • pave the way for better treatment options and a better quality of life for those with or at risk of kidney disease by supporting advancements in medical research

You also benefit from immediate tax deductions and there’s no messy paperwork for you to fill out at the end of the financial year. Your donation is simply deducted from you pre-tax salary each payroll cycle.

The amount you give is entirely up to you but every donation you give makes a big difference. If it helps, here’s some examples of how far your gift could go:

  • $50 a month can help cover the running costs of the Big Red Kidney Bus which provides lifesaving holiday dialysis
  • $35 a month can help fund early detection and awareness programs to help prevent as many people as possible from suffering from kidney disease
  • $25 a month can help provide welcome packs for children and young people newly diagnosed with kidney disease
  • $15 a month can help fund educational resources for parents and carers whose child has kidney disease
